You WERE Here.Yes, it must be very frightening to think that end users might want to have control over things they bought. What sucks is that I really like the interface and usability of the iPhone, but I just can't buy into the cult of personality that Apple is. If I'm going to ditch Windows & Blackberry, it's for Linux & Palm - not for something as proprietary as Microsoft, yet far more expensive!

I find it ironic that the same people who are flocking to open source software like Firefox are also running to Apple for hardware. Then they wonder why it's so expensive.

The same people that are complaining about the proprietary software of Microsoft are running to Apple for both hardware and software. I don't want to go down the Apple road...
