I've gotten a lot of questions about Cornficker today. Here's some rational detail on the Cornficker worm: snopes.com
If your Windows patches are current (How do I configure and use Automatic Updates in Windows XP?) and your antivirus is up-to-date (I've had good luck lately with the free-for-you-at-home Avast), then we have nothing to worry about.

The world will not end in 2012 because god will make sure we will have a long life.And someone made it up like when someone said the world is going to end in the year 2000
The world can never end. Who ever said that is crazy! Also some people are scared about the world ending on 2010. But don't worry cause the world is not going to end on 2012!
