Look at how the new WAS-based Sametime is documented and how 'easy' it is to install and deploy. It doesn't even include startup scripts to load it when the OS starts! (apparently fixed in ST 8.5.1, but I haven't validated that).

Of course, it doesn't have to be this way - IBM could choose to document and tests it's new world order products before unleashing them on it's paying clients.
